What is the Best Job for a Licensed Therapist in North Carolina?

What are the Advantages of Contracting with Carolina Counseling Services?

Although many therapists have the desire to work independently, starting and running their own business often interferes with their ability to do what they love the most, that is, working with their clients. Typically, it takes a new practice three to five years to even show a profit, which is much too long for most to budget. Considering overhead expenses and the challenges of marketing a business, this is simply not feasible for many.
Also, as a contractor, you can work or contract with other entities; you are not limited to working only with CCS.
As a contracted therapist for Carolina Counseling Services, you will still enjoy the ability to have a flexible schedule, work in a friendly, low-stress environment, and have more control over your income. Additionally, when you work with us, we provide you with the following:

  • Marketing Services
  • Screening Services
  • Billing Services
  • First Appointment Set-up/Scheduling Services
  • Authorization Services
  • Other Administrative Services
  • Transparency
  • Helpful, Friendly, Hard Working and Easy to Work with Administrative Teams.

At CCS, our client-centered approach can only be fulfilled by offering services that emphasize the therapist-client relationship. Our dedication to this relationship is the key to successfully offering some of the best counseling services available throughout North Carolina.

As an Experienced Counselor, What Kind of Opportunities Will I Find with Carolina Counseling Services?

Licensed Therapists who have specialties, have experience or training in working with specific issues or age groups, families, or couples, can be of service to the members of our communities. Especially at this time, people are having difficulties related to the pandemic, and therapists working with them are of special value to us. We work to match our clients to counselors who will best suit their needs.

Must I Have a Professional Office in Order to Contract with Carolina Counseling Services?

CCS Contracted Counselors need to have a secured, dedicated, private space that is HIPPA compliant – the same standards as working in an office building. If you are working in Telemental Health, you will not have to bring clients into your home, but will have to prepare a secured place to conduct private, professional online sessions.

How Much Does a Contracted Licensed Therapist Make at CCS?

Your income is based on the number and type of services you provide. With most services, the Contracting Therapist can expect to take home between $55 and $60 per session. The Contracting Therapist must arrange to pay State and Federal taxes on their own.

Will I be Able to Work Evening and Saturday Hours?

Yes! We also need therapists to conduct evening and Saturday sessions.
